02.02.2022 | Groundhog Day

Day:  26-degrees  /  Night:  19-degrees  |  Winter Storm Warning
The sleet is coming down at a fairly brisk pace.  It is surprisingly loud!  There's about a quarter of on inch this morning.  Not a fan of sleet but it is better than freezing rain.  There's still a call for a bunch of snow, so we are hunkering in and waiting for it.

A huge shout-out to our newspaper carrier.  I was surprised to see the blue bag out front this morning.  I certainly didn't expect delivery today and honestly tomorrow either.  I hope everyone who is out there is taking care of themselves.  It doesn't really matter how good of a driver you are when the weather is like it is today.  

The forecast says a mix of snow and sleet this morning will give way to all snow by the afternoon.  Winds are pretty brisk at 15 to 25 MPH.  Be safe. Be kind. Take care of yourself and those around you.  If you have elderly neighbors, check in on them if you can.  I guarantee they will appreciate it.  

Warmer days are coming my gardening friends.  It's hard to believe but Spring is lying in wait and life is just waiting to return under all of that winter precipitation.  Have an amazing day.  If you have time, enjoy that second cup of coffee.
