02.28.2023 | Tuesday in Lent

What a simple, ordinary thing it should be to pray.  Today's reading gives us the prayer of all prayers.  Hallowed be thy name.  How is that possible in my life?  What will it look like for this old gardener in South Saint Louis?  

Our Father in heaven,
hallowed be your name.
Your kingdom come,
your will be done,
    on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread,
and forgive us our debts,
    as we also have forgiven our debtors.
And lead us not into temptation,
    but deliver us from evil.

Simple, ordinary comfort.  Simple, ordinary challenge.  Amen.
