Day: 58-degrees / Night: 35-degrees
Yesterday was a long workday here in the Carondelet Garden. Lots of progress has been made. The back beds are done. One has Candy Hybrid Onions ready to go. You can see that picture above. The other two are cleaned, plowed, and ready for planting. The seedlings are coming along. We have lettuce starting already. This is so exciting. I know many of you are old hands at gardening and seedlings. While I am an old guy, this is my first adventure at seedlings at still a bit of newbie at this gardening hobby. Yet, I love it! Today is going to be a bit of a St. Louis Sunday with weather all over the place. It's mostly cloudy out there this morning. More clouds are scheduled to move through this afternoon bringing rain. Winds are out of the NNW at 5 to 10 MPH. Today is a day of rest for many reasons. In that spirit, the coffee is poured. We are waiting for the blue bag to appear on our front steps and then a day of reading, relaxing and the NYTimes crossword puzzle. How are you spending your Sunday? Be kind to yourself. Get some much needed rest if you can. Take care of yourself. Have a great day Gardening Friends!
