"Rainy Days and Mondays always get me down!"  I always loved that song by the Carpenters from the 1970s.  Mondays do get a bit of a bad rap and rainy Mondays?  Even worse reputation.  We need the rain here in the garden and it's already started here in the Carondelet neighborhood of south St. Louis.  Thunder roused us from our slumber early this morning and it looks like the rain is going to hang around all day.

Thunderstorms this morning will give way to overcast skies and even more rain this afternoon.  Winds will be out of the North at 10 to 15 MPH.  Rain and roads equal slick conditions so be kind to yourself and others as you travel about today.  Have a great day Gardening Friends!
