Day:  65-degrees  |  Night:  48-degrees
It's a wee soft day here in the Carondelet Garden.  The rain has stopped for the moment, and it is so quiet.  We need the break sometimes.  It gives us the time to reflect and think and just rest the mind and body.  The Basil is doing its thing in the herb garden.  We have four different varieties this year.  Very excited for a variety of dishes, but my favorite is pesto!  Can't wait to have that fresh, bright flavor that only comes from very fresh basil and the magic of my wife's hands in the kitchen. 

The showers may hang around a bit all day.  From what the forecast says we may be at the high temperature as well.  It's going to be a bit chilly this evening.  The winds are out of the West at 10 to 20 MPH.  Slow down and take a bit of a breather today if you can.  Be good and be kind to yourself.  You deserve it!  Have a great Tuesday Gardening Friends!
