Day: 64-degrees | Night: 57-degrees
I'm glad I took this picture of our Romaine Lettuce yesterday. It's raining cats and dogs here in the Carondelet Garden this morning. No storms, just a steady rain. Necessary moisture to help our babies grow! For years and years my only concern with weather was determining whether recess would need to be indoors or not. Now it's important to determine what needs to be done in the garden. It's a good reminder of the cycles of our lives. We need to remember to pay attention and attend to the things we care about. Today shall be rain all morning. Hopefully letting up a bit this afternoon. Winds are out of the East at 10 to 20 MPH. A fair bit of rain has fallen so be careful as some localized flooding could happen in low lying areas. Slow down as you travel about. Be good and be kind to yourself and others. Happy Cinco de Mayo Gardening Friends!
