Happy Mother’s Day not only to all the moms on earth, but also all the moms in heaven. Sending lots of love on this day. Mother's Day was the traditional day we put in our flower gardens every year.  It was always our gift to my mom to clean up her garden and plant new annuals and put down fresh mulch.  She loved to have everything looking really nice but was not much of a gardener at all!  She's been gone 17 years. but the memories linger like yesterday.  So, for all the mothers and the mothers-at-heart, thank you for your care and kindness!

As for gardening, today is going to be as perfect as perfect can be.  Beautiful, bright sunshine with just a few clouds for interest.  Winds out of the SE at 10 to 20 MPH.  Celebrate your mom or celebrate someone who has taken the time to "mother" you in some way.  Take care of yourselves and be good and kind to everyone you meet today.  Have a Happy Sunday Gardening Friends!
