It's Market Day Thursday for the #supercoololdpeople here in the Carondelet Garden.  Last Saturday we had the pleasure of joining our good friend and her wee one @tgfarmersmarket in Tower Grove Park.  Is there anything purer and more amazing than a sweet little girl taking her tentative steps in a field of clover?  Such a simple joy for this old gardener in South Saint Louis!

On a theme of gratefulness lately.  I am beyond grateful for the family and chosen family who continue to bring such love into our lives.  Former neighbors who have become family.  Current neighbors who couldn't be more loving and kind.  My darling nieces and nephews who bring the newness and excitement to life.  Our loving chosen family and the consistent gifts of joy, love and kindness they give to us every day.  Today is about being grateful for our blessings beyond measure!

It's a beautiful, sunny day here in the Carondelet Garden.  The garden has never looked better after the rains over the weekend.  We've done a bit of cleaning and tidying up.  Our tiny lawn is mowed, and the tomatoes vines are pruned and clipped to their stakes.  Life is good here in the garden.  This is the day the Lord has made, let us rejoice and be glad in it!  Amen.
