Day: 86-degrees | Night: 72-degrees
Carrots are another first for us here in the Carondelet Garden. Direct sewn seeds and they are coming up beautifully. I'm really excited because there are few things I love more than fresh carrots. Sweet and crunchy! It's clean-up and weeding throughout the vegetable gardens today. Just trying to stay ahead of the weeds and grass that spring up throughout the beds this time of year. It's a weekly, if not daily, problem. Clean-up is just part of life, I guess. We have to do it if we want to reap the reward we have to put in the work. As Mr. Sinatra would sing, "That's life!" The sun is shining brightly right now but the clouds are supposed to move in later this morning. Potential thunderstorms this this afternoon. Possibly severe storms so please be prepared. The winds are out of the SSE at 10 to 15 MPH. Have a little faith, share a bit of hope and spread some love as you celebrate one more day above the roses today. Have a great Thursday Gardening Friends!
