Day: 79-degrees | Night: 63-degrees
The Lavender is blooming! We have a small Lavender bed in a corner of the garden, and it is doing quite well this Spring. We love the subtle scent of these beautiful plantings. It's just a pleasure to walk by and brush up against them and get that hint of perfume in the air. Nothing better on a late Spring morning. It's raining here in Carondelet. The moisture is needed after a few warmer days over the weekend. It's a wee, soft, gentle rain with a rumble of thunder in the distance. It makes for a quiet start to the day here in the Garden. It looks like the rain is going to be around off and on all day. Hopefully we will get a bit of break so the Doodle Dog can get in a quick walk. She does not like to miss her journey through the neighborhood. Winds will be out of the WNW at 5 to 10 MPH. It's wet and slick so please be careful as you journey about this Wednesday. Be kind and good to yourself and others. Happy Hump Day Gardening Friends!
