The Hosta garden is looking really nice right now.  If you have a home in the City of Saint Louis then you probably have that little strip of land between your house and the sidewalk.  Ours is only three feet wide and the length of the house.  It was very shady and not much grass would grow.  We took it all out and began planting Hostas more than thirty years ago.  It is filled now and a glorious display every year.  The sad part is no one but us really sees it.  It is blocked from view in the front by a large bush and our fence and gate from the back.  We know it's  there and love it every time we walk past.  Do you have a hidden garden that you love?

Today is another stunning day here in the Carondelet Garden.  Low humidity and bright sunshine greeted us as we went outside this morning.  Winds are light and variable.  Pretty much a perfect day here in South Saint Louis.  Enjoy this Sunny Saturday Gardening Friends!
