Day: 88-degrees | Night: 72-degrees
The Allium are just starting to burst forth in bloom. We always call them firecracker plants because I think they look like fireworks exploding. Perfect time to bloom this 4th of July weekend. It's hard for some of us to want to celebrate our country right now. I understand that sentiment. Yet, I still cling to this quote from President Clinton, "There is nothing wrong with America that cannot be cured by what is right with America." I still have hope. Maybe, I'm naive but I still have hope that "if we listen to the better angels of our nature, there are creative and good solutions to serious problems." Matt Damon said that, and I continue to believe that we the people will, ultimately, listen to our better angels. I continue to hope, and pray, and have a bit of faith and hopefully still love others... mostly. I try. I often fail, and then try again. Kind of like being a gardener, right? Enough of the old man preaching. We can expect cloudy skies with peeks of sunshine. There's a slight chance of rain shower with winds out of the ESE at 5 to 10 MPH. Overall, not a bad day at all. Have a little hope, keep as much faith as you can muster, and spread as much love as possible today. One day at a time. Happy Sunday Gardening Friends!
