Day:  99-degrees  |  Night:  74-degrees
The Daylilies are looking quite resplendent in the Garden this morning.  The sunshine and heat did not leave them any worse for the wear.  We spent extra time last fall pruning them back and then this spring we really cleaned out any dead leaves and gave them some extra love.  They are just beautiful this year.  They certainly seemed to love the extra attention.  Really?  Who among us doesn't love a little TLC?  I guess that's the lesson for today.  Spread a little love around and watch what blooms!

It seems the heat is returning to the Carondelet Garden today. Plentiful sunshine with winds out of the SW at 5 to 10 MPH.  The Doodle Dog and I are heading out for our morning walk a bit early to try to beat the heat.  The princess does not like it if it's too hot!  It's going to be beautiful if hot.  Be careful if you are working outside today.  Keep hydrated and stay rested.  Share some love if you can.  Who knows what may happen?  Have a great day Gardening Friends!
