Another beautiful day in Carondelet this morning.  It's going to be pretty hot, but it feels lovely right now.  The Doodle Dog had a very exciting day yesterday watching the Forestry Department take down a very large diseased Ash Tree in front of our neighbor's house. She got to meet the arborists and was very taken with her new friends.  The tree was getting very dangerous, so it was a true joy to see it removed.  

The forecast seems to be on endless repeat lately.  Hot with abundant sunshine.  No rain in sight today so the watering continues.  I feel like we need to find a "Rainmaker" to come and beat some drums or something to make it rain.  The tomatoes are loving it though.  We made our first batch of homemade tomato sauce from only ingredients from the garden.  So very good!  Be good to yourself today.  Try to stay hydrated and rested.  Have a great Thursday Gardening Friends.  Maybe we will see you at the Farmers' Market at Francis Park tonight!
