Day: 100-degrees | Night: 74-degrees
The San Marzano Tomatoes are doing so well in this sunny, hot summer. We were able to make our first round of Marinara Sauce from them this past week and it was, in a word, YUM! Can't wait to start canning all of the sauce soon. Bright sunshine and really warm temperatures greeted us as we stepped out into the Garden this morning. It's going to be another hot day in Saint Louis with sunshine this morning and clouds moving in later this afternoon. The forecasters say there is a chance of a shower or thunderstorm as the day progresses. Not holding my breath! It is really dry around here right now. The winds are out of the WSW at 5 to 10 MPH. It looks like a much better chance of rain overnight. Let's hope for a long, soaking rain and not a gully washer. Take care of yourself today. Be good and kind to yourself and others. We need each other more than ever. Have a great Saturday Gardening friends!
