It's a bit overcast this morning here in the Carondelet Garden.  Possible thunderstorms are forecast for later this afternoon and into the overnight tonight.  We are still in need of the rain, but I am hoping for no terrible storms. I'm sure we have all had enough of the damage and destruction!

We have been huge fans of Hostas forever.  We recently spent the morning looking around the @mobotgarden and their amazing collection of hostas and saw the 'June' Hosta on display.  An award winner from the American Hosta Growers Association.  Of course, the hunt was on!  We found this beauty @greenscapegardens_stl and it is a gorgeous addition to our Hosta Garden.  

The electrician comes today to fix the outdoor electric.  The weeding will continue.  The rest of the potatoes will be harvested.  Tomatoes are still coming in hot and heavy.  It's going to be another busy day here in the garden.  It's a good day for a good day.  Be good and be kind to yourself and others as you journey about on this first day of August.  That's all the news from here in the Carondelet Garden.
