​The Lantana is looking lovely in the light showers falling here in the Carondelet Garden in beautiful South Saint Louis.  The windows are open, and we have "Radio Deluxe" with John Pizzarelli and his lovely wife, Jessica Molaskey on the Smart Speaker.  If you like the Great American Songbook as much as this #supercoololdpeople then you will love this radio program every Saturday morning.  It's on "New Standards" from WNYC.  Simply the best mix of great tunes from a bygone era.  We love these old tunes and enjoy the stories and banter from two of the great interpreters of jazz.  John is definitely one of the finest jazz guitar players out there.  What a great morning to listen to some beautiful music!  "September in the Rain" by Dinah Washington is playing right now!

The rain is going to continue throughout the morning.  Then cloudy skies and maybe even some more rain this afternoon.  Winds are light and variable.  Perfect day to hang out and watch some College Football.  I hope you find some time to simply enjoy the day.  You deserve a great day and some relaxation.  Here's to a rainy Saturday in September in the Rain!
