What sad news to hear of Queen Elizabeth's passing. Long live the King. She ruled in the most turbulent of times yet remained a leader and a calm, steady force to be reckoned with. The world is in mourning for Britain and her Queen. What saddens me even more are some of the editorial comments in the newspapers who are already trying to write their version of her history and cast aspersions about her immediately after her passing. History will sort itself out as we well know but now is not the time to throw stones. This is a time for sorrow and remembrance. Today in the Carondelet Garden we will have plentiful sunshine with winds out of the SE at 5 to 10 MPH. It's a beautiful day. I've already enjoyed looking at my English Rose bush that we planted earlier this year in honor of the Queen's seventieth year. It's a bit sad now but the world continues on. Be good to yourself. Be kind to yourself and others as you journey about. That's all the news from the Carondelet Garden.
