It was Fall last week.  Now it's summer again.  We even have a chance to break another heat record. Come back, Fall.  I need you.  My poor Mums need you as well.  We planted our Mums last week when it appeared Fall had really arrived.  Silly old man gardener.  It's Saint Louis. You should know better.  I should know better yet hope springs eternal.  Fall is coming soon.

It's sunny, hot and humid out in the Garden today.  The Doodle Dog looked at me after our walk like, "what's going on?"  She's laying on the wood floor passed out from the heat.  We should be setting a new high temperature for this date.  Whew! Winds will be out of the SW at 5 to 10 MPH.  Stay hydrated and take lots of breaks if you are out and about this hot, humid Tuesday in September.  Be good and be kind to yourself.  You deserve it!  That's all the news from the Carondelet Garden.
