I love Fall! I love the different activities that happen in Fall. It's such a joyous time and yet it builds into the deep Winter and the waiting that comes with Christmas and the darkness before Spring. Fall is that time of year when you just want to grab everything you can and enjoy it before you can't for a while.  This weekend was that kind of weekend.

Thursday night we ventured out to 9 Mile for the first night of Oktoberfest.  I know it's only September, but, what the heck.  Then Friday we went to JazzSTL for a great concert and wonderful meal.  Saturday was Macklind Days and Homecoming at Saint Louis University.  Sunday was Art in the Park at Francis Park in Saint Louis Hills.  Then we came home and had a lovely fire in the firepit and just enjoyed listening to music, enjoying an adult beverage and just talking.  Just a perfect Fall weekend.

Speaking of a perfect Fall.  Today is another one of those perfect Fall days.  Sunshine and clouds mixed. Winds out of the NW at 10 to 20 MPH.  We are watering in the re-seeding of the back lawn after the ravaging of the Summer heat.  It's a good day.
