Day: 61-degrees | Night: 36-degrees
The rain has ended, and the tears have started to dry. The sun is shining, and hope is beginning to return to the heart of this old man. I'm no Pollyanna. I know the problems in our City are real and scary but I still believe and Hope. I have Faith in our better angels. I still believe that Love can change things. I've read the stories of the first responders in our City who didn't hesitate to the right thing. The teachers and students who did the right thing at the right time. I have Hope! Our future depends on how we respond to tragedy. We do what we can to change things, so this doesn't happen again. We have an election soon. If you do nothing else, Vote for change. The sunshine has returned to South Saint Louis. It's going to be a lovely day with winds out of the NNW at 10 to 15 MPH. Be good and be kind to yourself and anyone who you may meet today. We don't know what others are dealing with right now. Keep hope alive. Have a little faith and share all the love you have. That's all the news from here in the Carondelet Garden.
