Day: 72-degrees | Night: 46-degrees
Happy Feast of All Hallows or All Hallows' Day. Some also refer to today as All Saints' Day, The Fest of All Saints, the Solemnity of All Saints and Hallowmas. Today is the day we celebrate and honor all the saints of the church, whether they are known or unknown. A great day to remember those who we loved and lost. This time of year is the time of Thin Places. Thin Places or Sacred Places gives us an opportunity to walk in two worlds at the same time. I love this idea from Celtic Spirituality as it is deeply connected to the natural world and reminds us that every aspect of our lives is infused with the presence of the Divine. The Celts viewed this time in the cycle of the year as a time where the veil between this world and the spiritual becomes thinner. Today is a day to journey out into creation and be drawn closer to all that is Sacred. Today is the perfect day to journey out into creation and find your Thin Place. The sun is shining and the winds are light and variable. A good day to remember. A good day to reflect. A good day to renew. Happy Feast of All Hallows!
